If you're interested in pursuing a career in voice-overs, the first step is to have your voice evaluated by VOworks or other qualified VO professionals. We will give you an honest, up-front assessment of your voice, and assess your potential for success in the industry.
FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS TO RECEIVE YOUR FREE EVALUATION:
Step 1: You will need a way to record your voice. If you don’t have a microphone and/or a
computer, you can use your smart phone.
Step 2: Select ONE script to read for your evaluation from the available scripts on the
Evaluation Scripts page (scripts...)
Step 3: Start your evaluation by recording the following…
- Clearly say your name
- Spell your last name
- Clearly say your email address
- Spell your email address
- Clearly state your contact phone number
- Clearly state the date (Month, Day and Year)
Step 4: Read and Record the script you selected - 3 different ways.
Step 5: Email the recording to voworks@voworks.com
We will be in touch with you in the next 24 hours by phone or e-mail with your evaluation. If for any reason, you have not heard from VOworks within 48 hours please send a follow-up email to voworks@voworks.com and we'll be happy to double check whether or not we have received your evaluation, as well as the accuracy of your contact information.
